Despite the fact that they were still in good condition, I decided to have the brake pads changed on my BMW R1200GS Adventure at my usual dealer, Lejeune Motosport.
Why change brake pads that weren't completely worn yet? Simply for peace of mind. On a large adventure bike like the GS Adventure, which eats up the miles, it's better to be proactive than to find yourself with excessive wear at the wrong time. Safety is priceless, especially when you love to travel far and wide.
