I ordered the KLIM Badlands Aero Pro Short: the perfect summer glove for motorcycle adventures?

Publié le 23 juillet 2026 à 20:58

Over the years, my BMW GS Rally gloves started to show their age. While they still fit well, the comfort in the palm area was gone.

I tried using palm protectors, but they weren't an ideal solution for me: not only did they require extra effort, but they also cut off my circulation after a while.

After much research and comparison, I finally ordered the KLIM Badlands Aero Pro Short gloves. These short, ventilated leather gloves are designed specifically for high-mileage riders in warm conditions, whether on the road, on long-distance touring, or light off-road riding.

As soon as I receive and test them, I'll give you a full review with photos from my ride. In the meantime, here's a detailed overview of their features.

Why did I choose the Badlands Aero Pro Short gloves?

- It's a short glove (ideal under a jacket sleeve)
- Perfect for hot weather thanks to its excellent ventilation
- A good balance between comfort, protection, and durability
- KLIM's premium reputation for adventure gear

Who are these gloves for?

Ideally suited for adventure/touring riders who ride a lot in warm or moderate weather. They're particularly well-suited to long journeys where you want ventilation, good feel at the controls, and a serious level of protection (on-road and light off-road).

Less suitable if you mainly ride in very cold conditions or heavy rain (in which case, the KLIM GTX versions would be more appropriate).

All that's left is for me to receive them (expected on August 3, 2026) and try them out on the road.

Ride Safe
