Why I prefer riding alone ?

Introduction
Many of you regularly ask me to ride together. I completely understand this desire to share the road. Yet, I still prefer solo rides. Here's why.

The Freedom of My Own Pace
When I ride alone, there's no set pace.
No one is rushing me, no one is waiting for me. I decide everything: the speed, the breaks, the route.

If I like a view, I stop.
If a road appeals to me, I ride it again.

If I want a coffee, I stay as long as I like.

Riding in a group is different. You have to adapt to others, manage schedules, delays, group breaks… And sometimes, you spend more time organizing than actually enjoying the ride.

Motorcycling as a Personal Escape
For me, motorcycling is first and foremost a moment of freedom. A moment when I'm alone with the road and my thoughts. This is the feeling I crave most.

That doesn't mean I'm completely ruling out group rides. But I need to keep the option of leaving at the last minute, without any constraints.

And what about meeting up with subscribers?
Despite everything, I'm planning to organize a get-together soon. Not necessarily a big group ride, but a simple moment to see each other, chat, and maybe ride a short distance together.

To make this possible, I need to know where you are.

In conclusion, I'll probably continue to ride mostly alone. It's what keeps me balanced.

But that doesn't stop me from wanting to meet you someday.
