In my article of July 23rd, I explained why, after analyzing about ten models, I chose the KLIM Badlands Aero Pro Short to replace my BMW GS summer gloves. Today, they arrived… and I've already tested them on the road.
As announced in my previous article [“I ordered the KLIM Badlands Aero Pro Short: the perfect summer glove for motorcycle adventures?”

I spent some time comparing about ten summer gloves before finalizing my choice of the KLIMs.
This Friday, July 31, 2026, I received the package from Motoblouz… a few days earlier than the announced date. A pleasant surprise!
Stylish packaging
The packaging is excellent. The gloves are well-wrapped and come with a very detailed care and instruction manual: usage tips, a size guide, and care recommendations. You can immediately tell that KLIM pays attention to detail.
I tried the gloves on right away to check the size. Result: they fit perfectly. No doubt about it, I chose the right size.
First road test – Saturday, August 1st
This Saturday, August 1st, I couldn't resist: off to the motorcycle for a first real test.
Honestly… they're perfect.
The gloves are supple from the first time you put them on, perfectly ventilated, and offer an excellent feeling of comfort and precision on the handlebars. The short cuffs fit snugly around the wrists without any discomfort. And the very welcome bonus: the touchscreen-compatible fingertips work perfectly with smartphone screens.
Technical features that confirm the choice
As a reminder, here are the main features that convinced me during my analysis:
• Premium goatskin leather construction
• Mapped "big-bore" perforations for excellent airflow while maintaining good abrasion resistance
• External stitching on the fingers (more comfort, fewer pressure points)
• Carbon + polycarbonate knuckle protectors
• Ceramic overlay on the knuckle protector and palm reinforcement
• 5 mm XRD® impact-resistant foam (palm and knuckles)
• TPU wrist protector + 2 mm foam
• Small air intake scoops on the fingers
• Precise Mult-E-Touch™ touchscreen functionality
• Visor wipe on the index finger
• Velcro closure + pull loop
• CE EN 13594:2015 certification, level KP 1
All of this is noticeable from the very first kilometers: this is clearly a high-end summer adventure glove, not a Simple, lightweight summer gloves.
Next step
A video of this test will be published on Wednesday, August 5th at 10:00 AM on my YouTube channel. You'll be able to see the gloves in action and get my more detailed impressions.
Conclusion
After analyzing, ordering, receiving, and testing them… I can confirm: they're an excellent choice. I'm more than satisfied.
Now all that's left is to hope they last more than 8 years, like my old BMW GS summer gloves that faithfully served me all those years. See you soon for the video and my feedback after more kilometers!
